Since 2009, Citizens Energy Group and its employees have joined forces with local Indy partner companies for their annual Sharing the Dream event to refurbish an Indianapolis Parks Department facility. Sharing the Dream is designed to serve the community and honor the late Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. This year’s service project marks Citizens’ seventh partnership with Indy Parks and the Indianapolis Parks Foundation.
Connor Fine Painting was honored to be among several local businesses who donated time and talent to this year’s great cause. Marksmen Construction Services and Mitsch Design led the effort to renovate the Krannert Park Family Center located at 605 South High School Road. Marksmen contacted Connor Fine Painting Project Manager Brandon Whitehouse with a very specific and focal project in mind. Brandon’s response was positive.
“When I was invited to help with this project, I jumped at the chance to partner with some great companies while giving back to the community. The most rewarding aspect of my job is watching the transformation a project takes from start to finish. This job brings even greater satisfaction knowing that our particular contribution will surely bring smiles to the faces of visitors to Krannert Park. Giving back and helping to beautify our city is a passion of all of us at Connor Fine Painting.”
Special thanks go to Rodolfo Colmenares and Erick Guzman for their great work. Rodolfo and Erick are part of Connor Fine Painting’s professional staff of commercial and industrial paint and coatings experts. Connor Fine Painting is a local Indianapolis Painting Contractor. We have invited our entire company and their families to enjoy the Sharing the Dream Day of Free Fun event on Monday, January 19, 2015 at Krannert Park. The festivities include free swimming, aerobics, yoga, Zumba and water Zumba.
