Position Summary

The Epoxy Flooring Installer is responsible for installing industrial floor markings and safety line striping, as well as preparing and installing epoxy flooring and other resinous floor coating systems in commercial and industrial facilities. This role requires a high level of craftsmanship, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety and quality.

What You’ll Do

  • Measure, layout, and install safety line striping, warehouse aisles, pedestrian walkways, loading zones, parking markings, symbols, and other industrial floor markings.
  • Operate professional striping equipment to create clean, accurate, and consistent floor markings.
  • Prepare concrete surfaces by grinding, blasting, sanding, repairing, and cleaning to ensure proper adhesion of coatings and floor markings.
  • Install epoxy flooring systems and other resinous floor coating systems.
  • Apply decorative flooring systems including flake, quartz, and specialty finishes.
  • Inspect completed flooring and striping installations to ensure Connor Painting’s quality standards are met.
  • Safely operate grinders, striping equipment, rollers, and other specialized tools.
  • Follow OSHA regulations and all company safety procedures while maintaining a clean and organized work area.
  • Work closely with other flooring installers and Team Leads to complete projects safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Experience with industrial floor marking and safety line striping is preferred.
  • Experience installing epoxy flooring, resinous floor coating systems, or similar commercial flooring systems is a plus.
  • Ability to safely operate grinders, striping equipment, rollers, and other power tools.
  • Strong attention to detail with pride in producing clean, precise, high quality work.
  • Ability to read layouts, follow project specifications, and work accurately in commercial and industrial environments.
  • Dependable, safety focused, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn, grow, and contribute to a winning team.

Requirements

  • Pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • Smartphone for the company’s mobile timekeeping system.
  • Willingness to work overtime, evenings, and weekends as business needs require.
  • Attendance at required safety meetings and training seminars.
