Staff Connor Fine Painting management team Bob Connor, president of Connor Fine Painting, has been a strong presence in the Indianapolis painting market since 1979. He started painting as a college student, working summers for his older brother Bill at Connor and Crew. He was a member of the graduating class of 1981 from Butler University, where he graduated with a degree in History and Political Science. While at Butler he was also member of the Bulldogs football program. Bob’s love of history, particularly Indiana history, fit hand in glove with his interest in the painting restoration of both residential and commercial properties. Bob has been involved with the Painting and Decorating Contractors of America since the late 1980’s and has served in a variety of offices within the organization. Additionally, Bob is a member of the Building Owners and Managers Association, the International Facility Management Association, Historic Landmarks Foundation, Remodelers Advantage professional roundtable and Vistage CEO membership organization. At CFP, Bob has a variety of responsibilities including executive management, project supervision, and sales. Additionally, Bob guides the organization with a profound commitment to integrity and with an unwavering vision for the company. He has been happily married to his wife, Jan, since 1982 and they have two wonderful sons, Nathan and Aidan. In his free time Bob enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and supporting Butler Athletics. bob@connorpainting.com Matthew Richards joined Connor Fine Painting in October of 2001. Matthew has been in the painting industry since he began painting during the summer of his senior year in high school in 1991. Before coming to Connor Fine Painting, Matthew was the pastor of a church for 3 years. Matthew earned a BS in Pastoral Theology in 1995. Matthew is now focusing on New Business Development on the commercial side of Connor Fine Painting. Recently Matthew has undertaken the redesign of the company website and an update of Connor Fine Painting’s safety program. Matthew is currently Marketing Committee Chair for the Indianapolis Chapter of IFMA (International Facility Management Association). He has also served for the last three years on the BOMA (Building Owners and Managers Association) Casino and Trade Show Committee. Matthew is a proud member of the Indy’s Best and Brightest list for 2005. He and his family worship at Colonial Hills Church in Indianapolis. In 1996 Matthew lost his mother, Linda Richards, to breast cancer after an eight year battle with the disease. He is a proud member of the 2007, 2008 and 2009 Pink Honor Roll for raising money for breast cancer research through the annual Komen Race for the Cure. In his free time, Matthew enjoys reading, blogging, golf, fantasy baseball, fantasy football, water sports, the Oakland Raiders, and the Chicago Cubs. Matthew has been married to his high school sweetheart, Amber, since 1994. They have been blessed with two sons and a daughter—Matthew Jr., Steven, and Linda and they reside in Fishers, Indiana. matt@connorpainting.com Brandon Whitehouse has been in the painting industry since 1993. For thirteen years he worked as a coatings representative for
the Sherwin Williams Company the Kansas City and Indianapolis markets. Brandon joined Connor Fine Painting in 2006 bringing with him an unrivaled background in customer service and coatings knowledge. As commercial sales manager, Brandon's main focus is to work with clients from the start of a project to the final walk-through, minimizing the inconvenience that sometimes accompanies installation of finishes. Brandon's on site role would include sales, estimating and project management for the commercial division of Connor Fine Painting. Brandon is actively involved in IREM ( Institute of Real Estate Management), is a member of Connor Fine Paintings safety committee and recently received his OSHA certification. Brandon has been married to his wife, Susan since 1999 and has been blessed with two beautiful children, Katie-4, and new born son Zach. Brandon attends Northview Christian Life Church in Carmel and in his spare time enjoys golf, hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.brandon@connorpainting.com John White has been our operations director/residential salesman since 1997. He started his career in the painting industry in 1986, joining Connor Fine Painting in 1989 as a field supervisor. We recently added the title of safety manager to John's portfolio to ensure our crews have proper training and adhere to our safety policies. John enjoys time at home with family and riding ATV's with his son at his Morgantown home.john@connorpainting.com Nathan Connor first started working for Connor Fine Painting, Inc. in the summer of 1999. He continued to work during the summer months throughout his high school and college career. He graduated in May of 2008 from Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis. While at IUPUI Nathan played four years of NCAA Division 1 soccer, and was honored as an academic all conference athlete all four years. He started full time with CFP beginning June 2008, as a project manager and sales associate. Nathan also serves as the assistant safety manager and designated emergency responder, having completed OSHA certification.
